Reporting your Co-op or Internship to the Engineering Professional Practice Office has several benefits.
Earn a Graduation Medallion and Academic Credit
Completing and reporting a learning experience earns you a graduation medallion, highlighting a significant accomplishment. Chemical, civil, industrial, material science, and nuclear engineering students can also earn academic credit.
Scholarship Eligibility
Students with reported experiences can apply for the EPP Ambassador Program, which offers scholarships and hourly pay for certain activities.
Exclusive Invitation to the J. Michael Stone Leadership & Professional Practice Awards Banquet
This banquet celebrates TCE students with co-op or internship experiences and the Dr. John W. Prados Scholarship is awarded during the event. Attendees receive leadership and professional development books.
Reflection and Self-Assessment
Reflecting on your experience helps you assess your strengths, weaknesses, and growth areas, aiding in setting career goals and future planning.
Create Opportunity for Others
Reporting your experience can contribute to academic research and help future students by sharing industry insights and best practices, aiding EPP in identifying future opportunities.
Feedback for Improvement
Providing feedback on your experience helps improve opportunities for future students, ensuring programs meet evolving needs.
