Tickle College of Engineering Migrates to Handshake for Enhanced Employment Opportunities

Beginning July 1, 2024, the Tickle College of Engineering’s Engineering Professional Practice will transition from using Grad Leaders ProConnect to the Handshake platform. This strategic move aims to streamline the employment search process for both students and employers, reducing the number of programs required and simplifying the registration for multiple recruiting events.

Handshake is a comprehensive career services platform widely adopted by universities to connect students with potential employers. By consolidating services into Handshake, Tickle College of Engineering students will experience a more integrated and user-friendly interface for managing their career development.

This migration to Handshake reflects Tickle College of Engineering’s commitment to providing its students with the best tools for their professional development, ensuring a seamless and efficient job search experience.

Students

To get started, students should visit the Handshake Student Portal at Handshake Login. Use your NetID as your username and your UT password for the password field. After logging in, it is essential to complete the “My Profile” and “Career Interests” sections under your name. This ensures that your profile is detailed and tailored to your career aspirations.

Furthermore, make sure to complete all sections and upload your resume under the “Documents” choice. This step is crucial to begin your search for full-time jobs, part-time jobs, or internships effectively.
