Work-term Requirements

During co-ops and internships, students are required to report their progress to the Office of Engineering Professional Practice. The following requirements are due for each semester worked.

Week 2:

  • Log in to your ProConnect account and go to “Report Co-op/Internship Records”
  • Then select “My Co-op/Internship Records” and then make updates to your current record.
  • Click “Edit Co-op/Internship” at the top of the page and update your information (be sure to complete all fields, including supervisor information)
  • Salary field: 173.3 x hourly rate = monthly rate. If you put in the hourly rate your advisor will change it to monthly. Please DO NOT change it back to the hourly rate!
  • Click “Save”

Week 6:

Email photo of yourself at work to coop@utk.edu

Two weeks prior to last day of work:

Fill out a copy of the Student Work Report, save a copy for your records, and send a copy to coop@utk.edu. If you have problems with the form, contact our office and request that it be emailed to you.
